| April 2014 Discipleship Training School |
There is quite a lot of hustle and bustle around the base this week. Our DTS is prepping to head out on their outreaches this weekend while the BSN prepares to go within the next couple weeks. During this time we are intentional to take time to process all the transformation, healing, and growth that has taken place over the last 12 weeks.
As I sit listening to my two girls chat about what's ahead I can visibly see the difference in them from when they first arrived on our dock. I can see confidence, acceptance, freedom, peace, and joy. They have come face to face with their raw pain, with their fears and they have met God. They have transformed more into the beautiful women God created them to be.
And it's not just my two girls, it's every student. Every student has his or her own story of the transformation God has done. They came here with a hunger and God met them.
And I'm reminded...
This is why we do what we do.
This is why I can put up with the scorpions, the bugs, the distance from so many friends and family. Because God is moving and we get to be a part of his beautiful handiwork.
Looking back over the school one highlight was a day where we gave an opportunity for baptisms. I had the privilege to baptize both of my gals. Hope you enjoy the pics!

Beautiful! You all are doing God's work for sure! You did forget the lack of hot water and the tarantulas, though....
