It's crazy to think it's been a couple months since our last post. Our bad! We're sorry, well, I guess we're not that sorry. We've been absorbing each day we get to see friends and family that we've been far from these past few years. While being away here are a couple of the ways that helped us stay connected with friends and family back home.
Photo Book with Names-
I used a cheap photo album that was about $1.00 and then printed out family photos that included names printed on them. We kept the album with Eliana's books and she LOVED looking through the photos and when people came over she was quick to show them her pictures.
Recordable Storybook-
My mom and dad gave this book to Eliana as a Christmas gift last year. She loves getting to hear her grandma's voice read her the story anytime she turns a page.
Video Chat-
Hands down the thing that helped us stay in touch the most was being able to video chat over the internet. Even if it was only for five minutes it helped us stay connected and helped Eliana see family more frequently.
