It's hard to believe we're already heading into week 4 of the lecture phase. It's one of those moments when it feels as though we just started the school yesterday, yet at the same time it feels as though this team has been together for months. In the past few weeks they have been learning about topics such as World Views, Character & Nature of God, Fear of God, Silence & Solitude, and Bible Study. They've also been busy getting their first certification in SCUBA diving- many took advantage of being newly certified by going out diving today. Noah and I have been having a blast getting to know the students, not only having fun with them, but getting to hear their stories and know their hearts. The past few days God has been revealing to me what an incredible position we have as staff. We get to journey alongside the students as God moves in their hearts and lives. In only a matter of a few weeks students have received revelation, truth, freedom, and joy-and He's not finished.

This past week the students learned where their outreach location will be! When their lecture phase ends in July, we will be heading to London for outreach during the Olympics. There will be people from all nations of the world, so this will be a great opportunity for us to minister and spread the gospel to many people. Noah and I are excited to have the opportunity to be leading this outreach. More details will come in the future, but right now we are aiming our sights on the rest of lecture phase, as it has only just begun.

| This huge boa was having lunch under one of the porches on base... I hope to NEVER find one under our casita porch! |
The day the students arrived, a few of us went into town early to pick out our new base dog! He is a rambunctious little fella and very protective of us already. He likes to bark at all the Belizians that walk through the base. (something we are training him not to do)
I (Noah) just finished up my college classes for this semester so that will free up a ton of time for me. I also was able to give lectures for one of the days this past week. I taught on Bibliology and the Book of John. It was an amazing time for me and I hope to be able to begin teaching for more extended periods of time in the future.
Please be praying for our baby to keep growing strong and healthy and for wisdom and discernment with working with the team and working on outreach arrangements.

Hi, Noah and Tracy,
ReplyDeleteIt's so neat for us to see how God is using you, and leading your life together! And we're so excited the Lord is "multiplying" you!! We pray all the details in every area of your life will be worked out as you walk with the Lord--we so admire your willingness to step out for Him. Many blessings on you!
Love,
Janine for the Rappuhns
