Throughout the day a water taxi passes our campus every two hours. When we want to go to town, we wait on the end of the dock and wave at the passing boat to inform them we would like a ride.
They pick us up at our dock and we continue heading towards town,
picking up more passengers along the way.
The trip takes about 20 minutes one way.
It's an enjoyable ride...except when it's raining.
Our campus is about four miles outside of town.
Eliana LOVES riding on the boat. She usually spends her time smiling at people and making new friends or catching a quick snooze.
The returning boat leaves every two hours. So we have to be strategic in our timing otherwise it could end up being a very long day in town.
