Noah's Outreach - DR Congo

These last few months have been power-packed with so much good knowledge that has been transforming my thinking and my life.  We have just finished our 9th week which completed the Old Testament, and we are currently learning how to teach, specifically in oral cultures.
The best part of the BSN course is the outreach where we get to teach all the things we just learned to pastors in the Congo!  The greatest excitement for this outreach is spurred from past BELT outreach stories.  BELT stands for Biblical Education and Leadership Training.  BELT specifically targets pastors and community leaders in rural cultures who do not have much access to Bible Training.  In past outreaches, large revivals have broken out into the community because the truth of the Bible is given to them in a way they can understand.  We won't be going to teach them reformed theology or church doctrine.  Instead, we will be going through the bible in a dramatized format; then we will have discussions and teachings on what we have just taught them using huge cloth posters which give a simple visual aid.  Click here for more details on what we will be doing.

I also would like to share a need of a friend who is going through BSN, Yoe (pronounced Joey) Gutierrez.  Right now, Yoe is being trained and equipped to reach the nations, and specifically his home nation, Venezuela.  He has already been in ministry for many years, and plans to continue with ministry when the BSN is finished.
At this current moment, Yoe needs about $5000 dollars to finish paying for the school cost of BSN as well as the Outreach.  His team is going to Nepal.  Another thing to add to this is that Yoe's flight is significantly more expensive than the rest of his team because he cannot fly through the USA without a Visa, and that's where ALL the cheap flights fly through.  I am asking for prayer for him, but also for you specifically to pray about whether or not God is putting it on your heart to give to him.  He needs $5000 dollars by this weekend.
