Traveling alone with Eliana internationally was...interesting. Some moments I thought, "oh this is a breeze" other moments I was declaring "never again!" She was very well behaved and I had many kind people who helped me whether during security check points or with entertaining her on the different plane rides. We had two unfortunate incidents where nap time was interrupted by loud noises on the plane, but we survived.
First stop: Denver!
Had a blast seeing friends and family. Eliana enjoyed being serenaded by Grandma Michelle, being fed by Uncle Micah, giggling with "auntie" Andrea and being smothered by snuggles from Auntie Cayla and Grandpa Mike. We're already looking forward to getting a chance in the future to see many more friends and family members we didn't have the opportunity to meet up with.
Next Stop: Wisconsin!
We were glad the snow had already melted from the week before, but we still had to bundle up to go for walks. I have to admit, I've become pretty pathetic with handling the cooler weather for being a Wisconsin grown gal. Belize has done a doozy on me with acclimating me to tropical weather. Again, we were blessed with being able to see friends and family members.
The long awaited, HIGHLY anticipated wedding of Lauren and Eric. Man, what a great time! The tiresome traveling, upset altitude baby tummy, sleep regression, and dry throat was all worth it a million times over to be able to celebrate with this wonderful couple.
I am very thankful I was able to be there.
I got to see my dear friend Alissa, and finally meet her darling, Hannah Rose, in person. Eliana and Hannah got to hang out during the wedding events and despite the usual wedding busyness I got to spend some much needed time with the bride as we prepped, primped, celebrated, and then danced the night away. What a gorgeous bride!

Nice!!!! Was so good to see you travel buddies.
